FDA-cleared

reSET® for Substance Use Disorder

A 12-week, prescription-only digital therapeutic delivering clinically-validated behavioral therapy as an adjunct to standard outpatient treatment.

What reSET® is

reSET® is Pear's lead product and the first prescription digital therapeutic cleared by the FDA for Substance Use Disorder. It is prescribed by a clinician for a defined 12-week course of therapy and is intended to be used alongside — not in place of — standard, outpatient treatment. Patients complete structured therapy lessons and exercises on their own device, while their care team retains visibility into engagement and progress.

How a course of therapy works

Prescribed and dispensed

A clinician prescribes reSET®; the patient receives access for the 12-week therapy course.

Structured 12-week program

Sequenced therapy modules build coping skills and reinforce abstinence-oriented goals.

Adjunct to outpatient care

Designed to complement counseling, contingency management, and clinic visits.

Clinician oversight

Engagement and self-reported data support conversations at each visit.

Who it is for

reSET® is prescription-only and is intended for patients in outpatient treatment for Substance Use Disorder under the care of a clinician. Suitability, treatment goals, and duration are determined by the prescribing clinician.
